SO LET YOUR LIGHT: A DEFENSE OF CHRISTIAN CULTURE
Should we be so earthly minded that we are no heavenly good, or so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good? Or should we instead be about the business of bringing all things under subjection to Christ? Should we labor that His will would be done on earth, as it is in heaven? With these lectures, the Highlands Study Center explores the call of Christians to let their light shine before men, that the glory of the Son might be known.

We are delighted to have as our speakers Dr. Gene Edward Veith, prolific author and culture editor for World magazine, Ken Myers, creator and host of Mars Hill Audio, a monthly audio magazine looking at the Christian and culture, Laurence Windham, co-host of The Basement Tapes, and Dr. R.C. Sproul Jr., founder and teacher at the Highlands Study Center. We considered together the call to dominion, and the enemies we must fight. We looked at the Captain of the Lord’s hosts, and the weapons of our warfare. We affirmed our call to labor, our call to worship, and end with our call to rest.
Our prayer is that these lectures will encourage and equip Christians to better understand the culture around them, that they will inspire us to greater fidelity and wisdom on the battlefield. Our prayer is that they will help Christians live more simple, separate, and deliberate lives for the glory of God and the building of His kingdom.
